The Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD) course is a 7 CME credit program designed to enhance the knowledge and competencies of CSSD professionals in alignment with national and international standards. This course aims to:
- Strengthen participants’ understanding of best practices in sterile processing services
- Ensure compliance with national and international standards, including AAMI, AORN, and CDC guidelines
- Enhance patient safety through effective infection prevention and control measures
- Improve efficiency, quality outcomes, and cost-effectiveness in CSSD operations

- Principles of cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization

- Immediate-use (flash) sterilization and the latest multi-society position statements
